We went to the temple open house today. It was such a great experience. We were thinking that we should have gone yesterday, because it was very crowded today. We had to stand in lines for a long time. They did have a little cover put up, so we were in the shade, but it was still tiring.
Then when we got downstairs, we saw Elder L. Tom Perry sitting with a group, presumably his family, next to the baptismal font! He was standing fairly close to us and I urged Will to go up and shake his hand, but he was too shy to do so. Oh, and Elder Perry was smiling. I have never seen him without a smile.

That's cool that you guys were able to do that. I bet that was exciting seeing Elder L. Tom Perry, I'd be shy too.
I'm glad that you guys made it there! We loved it. Sorry it was so crowded- it wasn't bad on the Friday we went. It must have been the time of night was not as crowded. It is such a gorgeous temple!
