New and Improved!

As I've mentioned before on here, I have been working on my weight this year. I am happy to report some progress! I have in fact lost 20 lbs! Unfortunately, this includes the 10 lbs. I gained earlier this year when I decided to go on a diet. Grr. But the key to losing it was to get serious - to cut way back on the calories, give up regular soda for diet - and don't try to tell me they taste the same, because they don't - and be more active. I am still not working out regularly, but I am not such a couch potato.

Even though it's really only 10 pounds less than last year, I could tell a difference when I put on my uniform for See's this month. It was much looser than last year. Of course, all I needed was to go back to work at a candy store, right? But I have actually lost a pound since starting back to work. I'm still trying hard to eat less, especially cutting off after dinner snacks.

I am proud of myself for losing the weight, and I am confident that I will keep losing next year as well. Hurray for the skinny jeans!

That's great Cindy, good job! It's a nice feeling when the clothes fit more loosely.

That's awesome Cindy! I need to get on a diet or weight-loss plan. I think 20 pounds is awesome and I'm sure you'll keep taking pounds off now that you've got a system! :)
