Apparently it's been a slow month, since I haven't posted anything since the 7th! Actually, it's been an eventful month, but not always about stuff worth blogging on. My mom's uncle passed away and she and I drove to Arizona for his funeral. Uncle Weldon had Alzheimer's disease, and he had been failing for a long time, so it wasn't unexpected. Still, even though it was for a sad occasion, it was good to get to see some family.
Then we were hardly back a week when I pulled a muscle in my back and wow, did that ever hurt. I was using ice packs and muscle relaxants and pain medications, and I was still very unhappy. Fortunately, things are starting to get back to normal around here.
Grades came out and let's just say that I was happier with some children than with others. But a new term is always a chance to start over, so let's hope we see some better grades next time. This next report card will be Ellen's last one! Until college, of course, but that's a little different!
