Time for back to school, and that seems to mean complications. At least Ellen is done, but Sarah and Will both had schedule problems this year. The district is switching to some new computer system thing, and apparently they don't have all the glitches worked out. So when Sarah got her schedule in the mail, it was completely blank. Very helpful. So we went down this week to speak with a counselor. Apparently there were LOTS of kids with the same trouble, and we can't get in to speak with anyone until Monday! By which time, of course, all the classes she wants will be full. Great.
And Will just wanted to change one class. He wanted to drop drama, which I was happy about since the teacher is just awful, and switch to another tech class. But when we went to the junior high, they don't actually let you speak to counselors at all. You just fill out the paperwork, and if they are feeling nice, then they make the schedule change you want.
So here we are, less than 2 weeks till school starts, and Sarah has no classes at all and we don't really know which classes Will has. And we haven't even begun to pay school fees or anything like that. Just great.

I feel you Cindy. Try moving to two new states and doing this. Not very fun. Good luck with all the classes.
Sounds like a lot of fun! Good luck getting it all worked out.
