So I went to the doctor last month and got all kinds of fun news.
1- My blood pressure is WAY TOO HIGH.
2- My thyroid is too low.
3- I have super migraines like ALL THE TIME.
4- I might be having asthma again.
All fun stuff. So I went on medication for the blood pressure and the thyroid stuff. And I realized that I have got to start taking better care of myself. Which means exercising and cutting out the junk, especially soda.
But of course, then we had a lot of stressful stuff come up with our kids, and I started eating junk again. The good news is that the blood pressure pills are working - it's finally down to normal. I'm still having headaches, but they are not as serious and not as bad. As for the asthma, if you were in Relief Society when I taught last month, you got to see that action. It's better too, which makes me suspect it was an infection, since I haven't been using an inhaler for a couple of weeks now.
So I could use some support from my wonderful friends to exercise and eat right. I have been really struggling with this. I know that exercise is good for me, but I have a hard time scheduling it. And junk is so yummy and you get that instant fix from it that you don't get from veggies! I mean, who ever says, I'm so tired I need some broccoli! It's caffeine and sugar that keep me going, even if I pay for it later. However, I'm trying to be nice to myself and not go for the guilt when I mess up, just to say, "I'll do better tomorrow." I sure wouldn't mind if I lost some weight at this, but I'm also trying to accept the fact that I may never lose weight and I have to love myself just the way I am. Thank goodness for my guy, who supports me and loves me no matter what.

Welcome to the blogging world, Cindy! I'm glad to have your blog to read!
I think one of the best ways to stay motivated to exercise is to find a buddy and make it a social event.
Oh, and have you tried adaptogens for energy? My brother takes adaptogens for his chronic fatigue and they have worked wonders for him. He has so much more energy now. My mom takes them too and swears by them. I know there are adaptogen formulas and also individual adaptogens like rhodiola, which is the one my mom takes.
