I have good news and bad news.
First the bad news. I called the neurosurgeon and can't even get an appointment until late August! I was hoping, if surgery was the answer, to have it over and done with before school started again. Boo.
Then the good news (sort of). I found out that Carrie has this same condition. Which is not good news for Carrie! But it's nice to know that I am not alone. How weird that this relatively rare condition should affect 2 people in the same neighborhood! And Randy has a coworker with it too. Carrie is going in for surgery soon, so I'll be praying for her to do well, and watching her progress to see if that can help me make up my mind what to do. Maybe we can compare notes about groovy new hairstyles!

Oh my heavens! That is really weird that you both have the same condition. I knew Carrie had it, but I had no idea that you did. I am so sorry, I hope you can get into surgery quickly. Good luck!
